The review

The Review of Agricultural and Environmental Studies (formerly Cahiers d'Economie et Sociologie Rurales) is an international peer-reviewed journal. The review provides a forum for the discussion of issues in the fields of agricultural, food sector, food consumption, environment, and rural areas. A hallmark of the journal is that it publishes leading articles from scholars working in economics or in sociology.

The Review of Agricultural and Environmental Studies welcomes submissions of applied and theoretical research papers in French or English. Articles that offer a comprehensive and insightful survey of a relevant subject will be also considered. In addition, papers by noneconomists and nonsociologists are welcome if they are of interest to economists and/or sociologists.

The Review of Agricultural and Environmental Studies allows free access to the complete text of the articles and is indexed by the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL).
